This is a picture of our Dad's mother, Flora Olive Rape.  My father, Herchel Wilburn Whitener was born as the eldest son of Hiram Wesley Whitener and Flora Olive Rape at the family farm 1 mile east and 1 1/2 miles south of the community of Kelton in Wheeler County Texas. 

Flora Olive Rape married Hiram Wesley Whitener on December 17, 1911.  Hiram Wesley Whitener was the son of Hiram Anthony Whitener of Kelton, Texas. Permission to use this picture granted by Starla Whitener

This is a picture of Andrew James Rape taken January 6, 1882.  His daughter, Flora Olive Rape was Herchel's mother.
